Biography
I am from Chicago, Illinois, and I have always enjoyed lifting weights on the side while participating in sports like wrestling, track and field, and football. Since I was young, I have always wanted to model, and while attending college, I also worked with a modeling agency.
As fate would have it, I soon came to love lifting weights, and fitness became more than just a hobby, but a part of my life. I earned my pro card in 2013 after winning the NPC National Championships that same year.
Since then, I have competed with the best, winning top events like Mr. Olympia and the Arnold Classic. With a large following on social media, I post workouts and plenty of photos to keep my fans engaged.
Off season: I focus on working on weaker body parts and enhancing the physique shape with ab training and back training. I rotate muscle groups throughout the week with one rest day.
Pre-contest: I continue to strengthen the men's physique shape as I prepare for the show. My workouts include exercises like Low Cable Row, One Arm Rows, Underhand Row, Lat Pulldowns, Walking Lunges, Lying Leg Curl, Leg Press, Leg Extension, Barbell Squats, Leg Press (Narrow Stance), Ab Crunches, Hang Leg and Knee Raises, Bicycle Kicks, focusing on abs, legs, and back training. I train 6 days a week during this phase.
I obviously take my nutrition seriously, eating only clean and whole foods. Like any serious bodybuilder, I work to make sure I'm getting adequate amounts of the right food. Important foods in my diet are eggs, lean meats, beef, green vegetables, sweet potatoes, brown rice, fruits, and whatever supplements I see fit, most notably, a protein powder.
