Biography

Hello everyone, I'm Giuseppe Romano ... I'm an amateur competitive bodybuilder, I'm a room instructor, personal trainer and in recent years I have specialized as a trainer for boys who want to tread the competition stages .. after several years of studies and experience I have cultivated this passion, and the passion has become work, which allows me to travel around Italy and the world and to make new acquaintances with enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts.

The first time I grabbed a barbell dates back to 1999 in a small gym in the center of Pagani .. From there my desire to improve immediately started .. It was love at first sight with the equipment room ..
In the years I have tried various training approaches, various techniques .. The first years I tried to push only with fundamental exercises to create a muscular base, the so-called frame .. So I worked a lot with low repetitions and huge weights .. I recommend this type of training a lot to the guy who wants to create a lot of mass, just see some IFBB pros who still work with high loads and only with fundamental exercises .. Today I use a lot of intelligence, contractions, stretching phase, negatives, stripping and rest breaks .. stimulus i muscles anyway and if I see that there is a point to improve on the weekend I recall it in a different way ...

Cardio is essential for me .. in the off period I do two weekly sessions of one hour. In the pre contest period I do cardio every day, often even in the morning on an empty stomach. the importance of cardio is both for drawing and for separation, but above all it serves to keep the heart trained .. We all know the importance of keeping the heart healthy!

My typical day does not change much between pre-race and off season..the only thing that changes is the morning cardio..in the morning I usually get up very early, I prepare all meals and run to the gym with my clients..in the off season, I usually train around 1pm. After training I go home to relax a little and dedicate myself to the virtual world by updating the FB page and istagram .. I reply to all the guys I follow from a distance .. in the afternoon I go back to the room and start other personal lessons ..in the competition periods, in the morning, the first cardiovascular workout begins with some "finishing" reminders, at 1pm the second workout!

Training

Being a coach I make athletes follow the multi-frequency workouts alternating in the off periods also the single-frequency workouts and this depends on what type of athlete I am dealing with. I strongly believe in the recalls of the deficient muscles with particular techniques

Diet

I really prefer carbohydrates both on and off season because I believe they are the basis for achieving great results.
